The aim is to provide all of the properties listed in contract, an up to date and easy to use security system, to all of Bristol City Council’s multiple occupancy communal properties, which include high rise, low rise and sheltered schemes.
The work is to consist of attending the sites listed in Schedule 1, (or others subsequently added) to respond to requests to repair damaged or failed door entry installations.
This may include:

— cut or broken cable,
— damaged or failed handsets,
— failed or damaged “Main Control” equipment.
All reported incidents are to be investigated and if the fault is within the communal equipment, including where located within a flat, any repairs must be carried out to restore the service.
The Contractor is to price for the provision of an out of hours Breakdown Attendance service in addition to the normal response service. All costs for providing this service shall be included in the Rates for out-of-hours call-out.
A service report detailing all visits, calls and work carried out shall be submitted at 1-month intervals.
