Local Crisis Funding Emergency Payments
1.1) The Council wishes to appoint provider(s) for Local Crisis and Prevention Fund – Emergency payments.
Proposed Contract.
1.5) The contract will be initially for 2 years and 4 months (1.12.2018 to 31.3.2021) plus an option to extend for a further 2 years – made up of 2 x 1 year extensions subject to agreement with the Council and the provider.
1.6) The anticipated service commencement date is 1.12.2018.
1.7) The estimated value of the contract is 66 667 GBP for the initial six months and 200 000 GBP per annum thereafter.
The Local Crisis and Prevention Fund (LCPF) provides small, one off, grant payments to help low income households overcome immediate food and fuel poverty. Its current contract expires at the end of November 2018 so is looking for a new supplier for its Emergency Payment initially for 4 months until the end of the 2018/19 financial year, but with the possibility to extend for 2 x 1 year 2019/20 and 2020/21 assuming there is continued funding from Bristol City Council. The estimated value of the contract is 66 667 GBP for the initial 4 months and 200 000 GBP per annum thereafter
