PF15-020 maintenance and improvement works to 70 properties.
Contract for maintenance and improvement works to 70 dwellings, to include a variety of the following works;
— Replacement/repair/cleaning of roof covering.
— Repairs to roof structure.
— Window/Door replacements including re-sizing.
— Replacing in-fill panels with masonry construction.
— Rebuilding/repair of chimney stacks.
— Replacement/redecoration of eaves/barges.
— Replacement/cleaning & repair of rainwater goods.
— Redecoration of walls/doors.
— Replacing/repointing of brickwork.
— Render replacement/repairs externally.
— Replacement/repairs/cleaning to external hardstanding including alterations to drainage.
— Replacement/redecoration of timber and metal fencing.
— Rebuilding freestanding walls.
— Replacing coping to walls.
— Replacement of boiler housing/doors.
— Repositioning of oil tanks.
— Providing lay-in insulation to roof voids.
— Replacement/repair to ceilings and stud walls.
— Render repair to solid masonry walls.
— Replacement/repair of timber floor boards.
etc.
Under the terms of the Contract, the Contracting Authority invites tenders to provide various maintenance and improvement works to 70 dwellings, to include a variety of the following works;
— Replacement of internal doors and door ironmongery.
— Repairs/replacement of skirting, architraves.
— Redecoration of internal rooms.
— Kitchen replacements.
— Replacement and repair to sanitary goods.
— Installation and replacement of room ventilation.
— Replacement of electrical items i.e. faceplates, light fittings, heat/smoke detectors.
— Re-wiring of complete dwelllings.
— Re-plumbing and re-placement of heating infrastructure including boiler replacement.
— Works to existing heating systems including radiator replacements.
The dwellings will remain occupied throughout the duration of the works. The successful Contractor is to allow for adequate traffic management to enable tenant access throughout the duration of the works, whilst also enabling egress in the event of an emergency.
Contract duration:
4 months.
Requests to participate must be made by completion and return of the PQQ by the date and time specific in Section IV.2.2) and in accordance with the instructions set out in the Memorandum of Information and PQQ.
PQQ Submissions submitted after the deadline may not be considered.
Choice shall not be responsible for any costs, charges or expenses, irrespective of the outcome of the competition, or if the competition is cancelled or postponed. All dates and time periods specified in this notice are provision only and Choice reserves the right to change these.
Choice reserves the right the right to cancel procurement at any stage.
