UCL — Ramsay Hall Refurbishment
Located in the Fitzrovia Conservation Area, Ramsay Hall is located adjacent to the Grade II Indian YMCA. The project includes for the design, procurement, construction and handover of the completed building across a phased programme. The building is divided up into 4 separate named blocks referred to as London, Paris, New York and Rome which to some extent each occupy a frontage on one of the above streets. The accommodation blocks are arranged around a large central courtyard which also houses another separate accommodation block, Ian Baker House, constructed in 2008. The scope allows for a high-quality end product with the potential to be UCL’s flagship student accommodation building. This scope includes refurbishment of the existing asset, extension of Rome block and significant landscaping work to the central courtyard.
