CTP846 Provision of Derbyshire Integrated Sexual Health Service (DISHS)
The Council is inviting tenders for the provision of the Derbyshire Integrated Sexual Health Service (DISHS).
The current integrated sexual health service delivers through a lead provider model working with multiple organisations including the acute sector, general practice, pharmacy and voluntary sector. The lead provider manages and oversees the service and works as a Primary Contractor sub-contracting.
Elements of service across organisations.
Derbyshire County Council seek to maintain this current service model as the best way to respond to rural geography, good sexual health in Derbyshire compared to England but with inequalities across some population groups.
The contract is for 5 years from 1.4.2019 with an option to extend the contract for 2 further periods of 2 years.
There will be a gain to share approach for efficiencies made throughout the life of the contract which will form part of the negotiations.
An open book approach will form part of the contract.
Within the geographical area of Derbyshire (excluding Derby City).
Derbyshire County Council will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar days (or 15 if non-electronic or fax methods used) standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to the relevant economic operators.
Debriefing by the Council shall be in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulation 2015 (as amended) (the Regulations). Such information should be requested from the addressee in Section 1.1. If an appeal regarding the award of the contract has not been successfully resolved the Regulations provide for the aggrieved parties who are of the opinion that they have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the Regulations, to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be brought as soon as possible.
